Plus Jamie's project was chosen as an alternate for District. Way to go Jamie!

Hit the Slopes

Alex has always wanted to teach the girls to ski. We finally went this year for their first lesson!

We rented equipment,

took a family pic (of course, Mommy made us)

and headed to the "Magic Carpet" for the low-down on skiing.

Alex is a great teacher.

Both girls caught on quickly and LOVED it!

So we bought the $10 pass to the "Platter" and skied down the hill again and again and again.

Yes, even I put skis on (for the first time since Alex took me in high school). Ski designs have come a long way. I confess. I loved it too!

It snowed on us most of the day. Not the best conditions, especially without goggles, but we still had a great time!
